Biography

The Staten Island Ferry Hawks acquired outfielder Nate Scantlin in a trade with Trois Rivieres. Last year in the Frontier League with Trois Rivieres, the outfielder had a .321 batting average and .821 OPS, while stealing 15 bases. Through all levels of professional play, Scantlin is a career .302 hitter. Originally from Rose Hill, Kansas, Scantlin was also drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2017 MLB June Amateur Draft.
