Biography

Luis Castro is an infielder and outfielder who is returning to Staten Island after an impressive 2023 season. The Venezuela native hit .291 with 15 home runs, 65 RBI, and 18 stolen bases last year with the Ferry Hawks. Castro, who made it to AAA with the Milwaukee Brewers organization in 2021, has a career .276 average and .813 OPS in 8 seasons in the minors.
