Assistant Coach

Mike Mauro is returning to the Staten Island Ferry Hawks as an assistant coach for the 2024 season. He has served as the head coach for the College of Staten Island (CSI) Men's baseball team since 2008. Mauro made his first appearance as a Ferry Hawk in 2022, when he was called to fill in as manager of the Ferry Hawks for one day as then-manager Edgardo Alfonzo was away at the New York Mets Old Timers' Day festivities. Mauro came back for the 2023 campaign as an Assistant Coach and will be fulfilling that role again this upcoming year.
