Mark Minicozzi is entering his first year as the manager for your Staten Island Ferry Hawks. Minicozzi got his managerial start in the Atlantic League with the Charleston Dirty Birds in the 2021 season. He then went on to manage the Kentucky Wild Health Genomes in 2022 before taking over the reigns as the manager for the Spire City Ghost Hounds in 2023. As a player, Minicozzi was an infielder who was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 2005 MLB June Amateur Draft. He had a 12 year professional baseball career where he accumulated a .283 AVG and tallied 354 RBI. Included in those 12 years, which took place both in the United States and internationally, Minicozzi played for the Long Island Ducks in 2016 and Somerset Patriots in 2017, both being Atlantic League teams at the time. It was that 2017 season where Minicozzi suited up with Somerset Patriot outfielder Aharon Eggleston, who was just brought in to be the Staten Island Ferry Hawks hitting coach for the 2024 campaign.
