On Wednesday, the FerryHawks defeated the Long Island Ducks by a score of 4-3. With this win, the FerryHawks snapped a 5-game losing streak and tied this series at one!

The FerryHawks got on the board early in this one and it all started with an
Angel Aguilar double. With Aguilar on second and two outs,
Kevin Krause mashed a two-run homer over the left field wall to make the game 2-0. The Tottenville High School product, who is flirting with a .300 average, now has 4 home runs and 19 RBI's on the season.

After a lull in the action, Long Island came roaring back in the 6th inning as they took a 3-2 lead. In the 7
th,
Brandon Pugh hit a rocket into left-center that plated two runs and put the FerryHawks back on top 4-3. Pugh has been on a tear since joining the FerryHawks, batting .333 in nearly 50 at-bats. His triple tonight was the surefire play of the game and helped seal the deal in this one.
